Nice Day Pilates
Trying Toronto’s Nice day Pilates!
I only arrived in Toronto Monday morning to immediately crave some movement. I did my research online and on Instagram and was quickly drawn to try this studio.
I have never seen so much natural light in a Pilates studio before. You walk into what seems like a car dealership but are quickly taken aback by the absolute modern art gallery of a studio that’s in front of you.
I was greeted by two friendly faces who were checking people in and the other was teaching the class. I’ve never seen it before to have someone dedicated to just checking in people and making them feel welcome. It was a subtle difference but made the studio feel a little elevated for some reason.
There was dedicated locker space, dedicated bathroom space, shoe space and changing space. Typically these spaces are crammed into one hallway, but this studio capitalized space.
It felt more of an experience than your typical workout studio and not in a negative way- believe me, my abs were still shaking!
The style was classical reformer which is refreshing for a modern and “trendy” studio.
I would rate this class a 10/10 for studio quality 5/10 for hardness
8/10 for proper instruction and classical technique
